Prior to being recruited to join the esteemed primary care sports medicine faculty at HSS, Dr. He then worked as a team physician at the University of California in Berkeley, culminating in service as the head team physician at the time, he was one of the youngest head team physicians of a major collegiate program in the country. Subsequently, he completed a 2-year sports medicine fellowship at UCLA. After attending medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, he completed his internal medicine residency at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Dixit graduated with honors with a degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He uses a wide array of non-surgical treatments often with the goal of avoiding surgery, and also provides prompt referral to unparalleled surgical colleagues when appropriate.ĭr.
